Michael Blaker’s Bookish Wednesday: “Beyond the Wall” by Selkie Myth

I’m back with the fourth entry in Elaine’s journey for this week’s Bookish Wednesday. It’s “Beyond the Wall,” Book 04 of the Beneath the Dragoneye Moons series by Selkie Myth.

Plot: We pick back up about a year after the end of the last book, although I really, really, want to know what the heck went happened in the Pastos incident, with Elaine living her life in the capital.

Unfortunately, life decides things are going too well for her one night. I won’t spoil what exactly happens, but needless to say that it’s a big deal.

Characters: We get to meet lots of new characters in this book, but none of them, with the exceptions of two special ones, are particularly noteworthy over any of the other newcomers. That said, we get to see what the upper limits of the Sentinels really are in this entry, and it’s quite impressive.

Overall: An extremely well-written story for the fourth entry in this excellent LitRPG series.
