Hey all, I’m back with the thirteenth volume of Yuna’s journeys for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Volume 13” by Kumanano.
Plot: This picks up right after the end of the prior volume with Yuna heading to the desert town Dezelt in order to fulfill the latest quest she received, this time from the King of Elfanica himself.
It’s a fun volume, and it’s definitely more action packed than not, which is great. Honestly, it’s one of the stronger volumes of the entire series, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Characters: There were a few new characters this volume. I’m unsure if we’ll see them impact the plot past this particular volume, but it’s certainly a possibility. Karina is probably my favorite of the new characters in this volume, but as always Yuna is the star of the show.
Overall: A very good volume in one of my favorite Isekai series.
